1. About UT and ChilledOutFraggers

UT and everything around is a GAME and was made for FUN.
{CoF} UnrealTournament clan is based on friendship and will always consist of friendship.
No one will become a member if he or she is not able to build friendships with other members.

Respect is one of the most important elements in this clan.
If you disrespect a member you cannot expect respect for yourself.
Same goes to other clans:
If you disrespect another clan you can’t expect respect from them.
Disrespect towards other clans is totally frowned upon in the world of clans.

Another important point in {Çø£} - if you are not honest towards any member concerning clan issues and give your honest opinion - we do not need you. Honesty is essential for true friendship. If there are any quarrels inside the clan always keep in mind that it is made for fun and friendship.

{Çø£} Clan is managed by ALL members. Important decisions are made by all {Çø£} fullmembers.

2. Recruiting

· Joining members have to be at least 18 years old.

· They have to have a good attitude and a friendly personality and have to represent {Çø£}with their behaviour. If we feel that a member is failing to act in a conduct fitting {Çø£} this member will be removed from the clan.

· Interested players should get in contact with the Clan members. If the candidate is considered suitable, they are given a 3 month trial. During this 3 month time period the candidate will be monitored by the members, and if after the 3 months they have conducted themselves in a manner fitting this clan, they will be entered into a poll in which the ENTIRE clan will vote, as to whether or not this new member enters our clan full time.

3. Server Support/Financing

The membership of {Çø£} is NOT for free. Running a Clan is not without its costs, we have to pay for the servers and web space. We therefore split the cost equally between all members.

Your time as a trial member is for FREE. If you so wish, you may support the Clan with donations within your trial period. But please note this will make NO difference to the outcome of your final poll/vote. After this time you need to pay about 40€ per quarter, but please note, if we grow and more members join the payment WILL go down in value.

The payments can be done by bank account money transfers and via the PayPal system and sent to the Treasurer of {Çø£} (see Clan members section). Your payments and the Server finances can be checked online @ our internal forum "in real time" by all members.

The Member fee is payable "Quarterly" (every 3 months) and is paid in advance. Small additional donations are always welcome, but are not mandatory. If for some unfortunate reason a member cannot make a payment (shit happens…) Then he/she should contact the Treasurer who may be able to come up with a solution. If such an agreement is not kept by a member he/she WILL be REMOVED from the clan. Exceptions will be discussed and can only be made if all members agree.

4. Communication, Helping and Humour

For this clan to work Communication is a must, and we feel it is always good to express your feelings and thoughts. Provided it’s done properly and without causing offence. All of our members communicate regularly whether it be through our forums/website or MSN. It’s good to talk - it builds friendships. We also hold regular meetings in MSN - this we feel is good for solving clan issues/problems or just simply getting to know one another.

Again, without honest communication we feel relationships can fall apart, and this clan would fall apart too - so remember, it’s good to talk with each other. As a member in this clan you are obliged to help others, (provided you can) especially other members. No matter if it has something to do with UT or not, you can always count on {Çø£}members without exception. Just ask and you will get an answer as long as we are able to help you. Humour is a must and is important to us. We are a fun clan; we formed this clan to have fun together. We all have a great sense of humour and can live with it if someone makes jokes with us as long as we can do the same with them.

5. Fair play, Activity and Teamwork

As a member of {Çø£} you stand for fair game play. This means you do not team kill, type kill or cheat. If you type or team kill by mistake just apologize and everything is fine. Mistakes happen and are just human. If we catch you cheating you will be expelled from this clan and banned from our servers - absolutely no excuses.

Playing in a clan means to be active in the forum to communicate, be up to date, and play on the servers regularly. If you are fed up with UT you can always take a break, just inform us before you leave with a little post in the 'Holiday' section. If you are fed up with the clan or some members, try to resolve your problems (with the help of other members) ….or leave the clan (hopefully in friendship). Even if you leave the clan you can stay active on our forum and keep in contact with us. Leaving a clan does not mean leaving all your friends.

This is a DeathMatch clan with an interest in Capture the Flag and 1on1 game types. In all game types you have to be able to play as a part of a team (as and when needed). We have tactics for some maps and you should follow them in a Clan War. (e.g. weaker players distract an opponent; better players kill the distracted opponent then.) It is not the personal frag score that counts; it is the score we achieve as a team.

6. Honour and Pride

Honour and Pride are important. Do not argue heatedly especially on open fields such as game servers with those who show you disrespect. Always try to keep your honour and pride and do not lower your standards to meet theirs. This could make you look worse to others. Remember there are many newcomers in the UT world who play it for the first time and do not know how to behave correctly. Tell them what they can and cannot do with you, and try to be friendly and humorous. If for example they are insulting people on the server then report it to the members and kick/ban them if it is necessary.

7. Leaving the Clan

The membership of this Clan ends;

· If members leave the clan by themselves.

· If a member uses any kind of cheats or aimbots or any code which is associated with them.

· If a member stays away from Clan activities for longer than 3 month without any announcement.

· If a member gives away internal Clan information to a third party (internal clan information is ALL posts and topics listed in the ‘Clan members only’ section of the forum. These topics are listed here because the authors wish the information to remain private)

· If a member shows bad behaviour or acts against these rules, and fails to react to any warnings.

· If a member stops or refuses to pay their server fee without a valid reason

8. Miscellaneous

· Every member has to have MSN installed.

· Every member has to represent and defend {Çø£} whenever necessary.

· Every member has to abide by the rules.

Always keep in mind that when you are a part of this clan you represent the whole clan with your behaviour. If you misbehave your behaviour reflects badly on the whole clan. We will not stand for anyone who destroys the reputation of {Çø£}
